Quick question,

How do I get zinc ore? It says copper ore on wiki but there is none to be found. I looked att copper ores own page and it said nothing about zinc ore!

Do you have the collection active? Do be aware certain items/mats are not guaranteed drops. You just have to keep trying.

Thank you, yes I have the collection active and have already gathered several items.

It does come from copper ore, but it’s a ‘rare’ drop, which means you won’t get it every time.

I did the Bifrost collection which requires getting Cobalt from iron ore nodes and I found it was slightly rarer than getting a gem stone from the node. I assume it’s the same for Zinc.

The best thing to do is pick a map you know has a lot of copper nodes and run around it gathering all the ones you come across (maybe skipping ones that are awkward to get to). Or leave a character in a location you know has lots of nodes close together, like the ettin cave north of the Heartwoods in Queensdale.

Could you perhaps edit your title to reflect the actual thread? “How Do I Get Zinc Ore For (Legendary Name)?” might do very well. You might even get more useful replies, though Danikat’s is really the only one you need.

I don’t know which legendary needs the zinc ore and haven’t done it myself, or I’d tell you how I got it.

Just mine copper nodes until it drops. It didn’t take me long.
