I had multiple characters with Gem Store dyes and now that the dyes are account wide I have been given unidentified dyes for the duplicates I had? I am sorry but a dye I paid for with actual money is not equal to 1 unidentified dye at the very least I should be given back the gem store dye kit(s) I purchased for the dyes.

I’m talking like I had multiple characters with Pyre, Charred, Deep Glacial Sky etc well over 500g in game worth of dyes.

I can understand the unidentified dyes being account wide but Gem Store dyes? If you’re going to be doing that then the people who have multiple gem store dyes should either get their dyes back or get the gem stores dye kits as compensation…

You should have recieved any duplicate dyes back for the gem store dyes.

Have you logged in to all of your characters? If you don’t have them yet submit a ticket.

I was pretty sure that they did say that if you had paid for multiples in the gem store you could ask for a refund. Though I’m not 100% sure on that and doing it closer to the patch would have been smart…

I think partly they probably weren’t expecting a ton of people to buy the same dyes over and over again on different characters…

They said to wait until after May 12 to make sure all gem store duplicates were covered, and you should be getting those specific dyes back in the mail. I’m -pretty- sure I had more than one of a couple of them and I have not seen anything in the mail — I’ll go log in on all alts just to see if that triggers it.

The post about refunds does say that in order to receive the dyes back automatically you had to log in to your characters before 6th May.

Since the OP is only now asking about this I’m guessing they haven’t been on in a while and may have missed that window.

If that’s the case (and actually if it’s not as well) I’d suggest contacting customer support to see what they can do. They might well be able to send you the duplicate gem store dyes manually.

I’ve had this. I didn’t get them refunded on the day they said (I believe the 12th) so I submitted a ticket. I got a reply saying they should be rolled on the 15th due to a delay. I didn’t get, so I submitted another ticket. Been told it needs further investigation.

Still waiting on a reply, why am I not surprised that this dye refund thing didn’t work out eh.

Hmm, I did log onto all my alts right after the April 15 patch. Just did it again to make sure. The thing is I might not have ever duplicated a dye account-wide, on the expensive gem store ones I tended to assign them to the alt most likely to use that hue and TP the extras. I did think I had more than one alt with one of the pale blue F&F dyes, though.

At least all the alt hopping netted me the birthday present for my seldom-played Ranger!

I just asked my friend to login who had multiple Gem Store dyes and who also didn’t login at all until about 5 mins ago and she was mailed the dupe dyes so logging or not has nothing to do with getting your dyes or not.
