Do you get any bonus’s from buying Gems Just brought 100$ worth of gems and no bonus

Bonus what? You get … gems. Which can buy things in the gem shop or be exchanged for gold. They are a flat rate, have cost exactly the same cash per gem since day one.

What sort of bonus did you have in mind? This game won’t be pay to win (hush, you debaters ) so …. extra gems? That would cause outrage at ANet gouging people or rewarding thick wallets. Account boost? No pay to win, remember?

They did once or twice send gifts in the game mail to people who had previously bought gems, as a thank you. Nothing game breaking.

In other F2P games the more gems you buy the more “bonus” gems you get for paying more money. This doesn’t exist in GW2

This is actually quite true. If you look at LoL, for example, they give you 1380 points per $10 card, and the amount increases based on how much you spend ($25 = 3980, $50 = 7580).

I guess is because you can exchange back to gold from gems, so it’d be kinda crappy for people who can’t buy bulk, otherwise every other thing I’ve been to has a $0.01:1 conversation rate for the respective currency, usually giving more unless is hindered by the currency exchange in real life.
