Just to confirm, it is 640 gems for me since i only lacked the harvesting one.
The only previous pro-rating of prices I’m sure of is for LS2, where you only pay for the chapters you haven’t unlocked. So they’ve had the tech for it for a while. I don’t know that they’ll apply it to bundles already released, however.
Thanks for the heads up on it, Flesh, however confusing! It seems to have overshadowed the Skritt harvester, which latter I am hoping will eventually be in a themed tools bundle, same way I’m holding out for a bundle of the celestial tools before I spring for them if I buy them at all. But it’s possible they’ll rotate out the tool each day and the harvester will just be gone soon. Who knows?

Living World Season Two complete pack is listed on the home page for 1280 gems. Usual price is 1600 gems.
Edit 1: price is what shows on an account that doesn’t have LW season 2 unlocked.
Edit 2: I found the usual price on the wiki page Living World Season 2 Complete pack. On that site1600 gems is the stated price for the bundle.1280 gems would be 20% off of that.
(edited by Astral Projections.7320)
AP — On the LS2 discount, are you sure that is the price for those who have not got any LS2 at all? I can’t check myself as it simply doesn’t show up for me (I’ve done all of LS2), but the gem price varies individually as it is prorated by how many section you already have unlocked.

I checked the price as best I could. The home page doesn’t say discount, unfortunately.
On an alt account that doesn’t have LW season two unlocked, the price shows on that account as 1280 gems, which is 20% off the normal price. Wiki says it’s 12.5% discount for every chapter unlocked. From that I concluded that the price shown was correct.
(edited by Astral Projections.7320)
That’s always the price for LS S2 if bought in a bundle. Ever since it released, it’s been ‘20 % off’ (if purchased as a bundle, and bundle being any amount over 1).

I based it on the price shown here for the Living World Season Two complete pack which shows as 1600 gems for the bundle.
See the ‘Talk’ page. Remember, the Wiki is not infallible.
But, it really makes no difference. If players want to purchase it, they will; if they think they are getting a better deal, great! =)
Here’s the Blog announcement about the discount: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/new-hairstyles-rainbow-unicorn-finisher-living-world-season-2-complete-pack-and-stronghold-beta-sale-in-the-gem-store/
Here’s a Dev post about it: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Buy-The-Living-World-Season-2-Complete-Pack/first#post4975327
I, personally, have never seen it not on discount, but maybe it’s recently changed, as I’ve not been on my other account for a week or two.

Really makes no difference? This thread is for discounted items and new/returned items so for the purpose of this thread it does make a difference.
If you have information that the stated price on wiki isn’t correct, perhaps you could edit the site.
Edit: I didn’t see the usual price on either of your listed links. It only said that buying the bundle discounts the price. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t an additional price reduction today.

Here’s what I found:
A post from a month ago referencing the 20% discount: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/Does-anyone-know-what-armor-this-is-2/first#post6191817
A post a few months after introduction (sales usually don’t last more than a week or two, unless permanently discounted) referencing the price: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/lwd/Living-World-Season-2-Complete-Package/first#post5142693
As I said, whether it’s a returning discount, or ‘always been’ discount, players will purchase the Bundle if desired, and either get a good deal, or feel they are getting a better deal.
Again, I’ve never seen it not at 20% off.

Ok. You should edit wiki with the real price then, or put the information in so someone can do it.

Basic Unbreakable Gathering tools (no skins)
A full set of 3 tools (harvesting, mining, chopping): 2400 gems

I wish they’d brought out the Basic Unbreakable tools years ago. These are exactly what I wanted when infinite tools first appeared.
But now I’ve got 2 mining picks, a sickle and an axe so I really can’t justify spending that much (£25.50) just to hide the animations. Especially having gone for relatively ‘minimal’ ones already. (I bought the second pick because I hated how over the top the Molten one was.)

Yeah it looks like they’ve increased the maximum you can buy again. I’ve got 5 already (plus the freebie that came with the level 80 boost) and it’s now telling me I can buy 8 more.
Which brings the current total to 13 purchased + 1 free with HoT.
I assume we’ll eventually have 20 total. Maybe 21, but considering we’ve never had more than 20 bag slots that seems unlikely.
Edit: And maybe by the time they get to 20 I’ll have learned that I can always take things out of the slots again and to stop agonising over whether I’m making the best possible use of them.

The description lets think that it replaces our normal gathering tools on ALL our characters instantly, which would mean that we don’t have to move them from a character to another?
Can someone confirm plz?

They were that price, but you couldn’t buy them if you had your slots maxed. I was saying you can buy up to 3 more slots (and listing the prices). But I added the word additional to help avoid confusion.

Any character is not all characters.
Unless they put in account wide harvesting tool slots, any harvesting tools you use will be character based and must be exchanged between characters through account wide inventory slots or the bank.

all the tools say “This tool replaces your Logging Axe (etc) on any character”, so I’m guessing that it works the same.

Any is not the same as All.
“Anyone can have this cookie” does not mean everyone in the room will be able to eat the same cookie. It just means there are no restrictions on who is allowed to take it.
In this case it means the tools don’t have a level requirement like the gold-bought ones do. You have to be level 60 to use an Ori gathering tool, but a level 1 character can equip the infinite ones.

Yes, in fact the French translation must be misleading then. Because in French, it clearly states that the unlimited tools will replace the tools of all of your characters. :/
Thx anyway for the answers, unlimited gatherings tools are still not for me then

Same here, as long as I need to unequip/equip them after each character session it is not really more of a timesaver than keeping a spare of all 3 tools in a shared slot (which I already do). Less handy actually, since I only need to do something about the slot when I remove the limited-use tool from it.

From Dulfy Glide-r-Tron video
Dyeable. Whirl up sound. (And it doesn’t speak)
On dyeing it: Top dye panel is the force field whirl and exhaust color. Bottom dye panel is the inner and outer rims of the disk as well as the hub trim; the rims lighten up dramatically from the chosen color, such that Shadow Abyss is fairly white and Shadow Orange is a vivid hue.

The bottom dye panel also dyes the little golem that sits on your character’s back.
And, for those wondering, JaFW is just fine and dandy. =)
