Maybe I’m losing it, but didn’t it used to be if you bought stuff with real money in the gemstore you used to get a bonus the next month in your mail? I very clearly remember using real money a couple times and the next month receiving some freebies as a good PR type thing. Like a thanks for purchasing with real money.

Is my memory just totally sucking or was this done away with long ago?

That’s not a regular thing. I think they have only ever done that promotion maybe twice in the game’s lifetime and they advertise it on the website when they do.

Anet did send some gift some time ago to gem store customer. I think we got kite and some other thing I forget. Some people rage on forum about it though and say unfair. So they stop doing it.

Here is the kite example and rage it had. One person even call the kite badge of shame. This why we can not have nice thing.

They did this a couple of times a long, long time ago. We got some minis, a kite, and a couple of other things. It was early in the game’s lifespan. They haven’t don’t anything like that since. None of the ‘valued customer’ gifts thing.
