Guild Wars 2

Hi!

First of all, I want to say I really love Guild Wars 2. It is a great game! I also liked the changed introduced back in April, especially the megaservers. I love seeing the maps more full. It makes the game world feel fun as I get to partner with people from other servers.

However, I have found it difficult to recruit for my guild. We like to do WvW and we’ve been doing our best to grow as a guild. But, a lot of times, we are finding that our new members are not only from a different server, but a server who a lot of times end up being our enemies in WvW. And sadly, we don’t have the money/gold to transfer them over.

Anyways, I think it would really be helpful if we introduced a type of /server chat to the game. That way we can send out advertisements and such to people that are in our server instead of our opponents.

I appreciate all you do for the game arena net! Thanks for making it an awesome place for me and my guild to thrive!

Welcome to the megaserver system where server/guilds have lost their identities, hope they can fix that part.

This has been suggested many times since the Megaserver was added. A lot of people want it implemented; it’s pretty crucial for WvW, and guilds wanting to recruit for WvW. You really can’t recruit for a WvW guild on a map that likely has enemy servers without being trolled by at least one person, and it’s literally impossible to do WvW call-outs for help anymore, since it won’t do any good.

I hope they actually listen. I don’t think it should be global, but a map-wide server chat would fix a lot of things. It’s terrible not having any server-specific chat outside of WvW.

Nobody cares WvW.
Return to PVE, we have zergs, overpopulated maps and several dark languages spoken in general chat. Pretty much similar to WvW ^^
