Guild Wars 2

Finally got my 1000 bandit crests, and I realised there’s only 3 pieces of the carapace armor I can get. Someone else said you must do an old mission, and buy it if you haven’t got it, for other bits to show up in the vendors list.
I’m just wondering if there’s any way to get it without spending 200 gems on an old mission?

I’m not sure but what about PVP reward track?

I’ve gotten different boxes from completing SW content and opening the greater nightmare chest with keys gotten from farming SW, so maybe the legging box will come from that? I’m not sure if it’s only limited to certain pieces that drop from different things randomly in SW or not, though. I’ve gotten the gloves and boots this way, I think.

Oh, guess I’ll have to get saving then, gonna be nearly 30g just for that mission :c

Btw, if I tag along with someone else who has the mission unlocked, will it count as completed?

The boots are a rare drop from a bandit chest. It unlocks to purchase if you do the Ambassodor’s aid achievement.
Assist Ambassador Ikkhit’ch by defending the skritt territory from bandit raiders.

No need to do the story. Also you get one guaranteed coat for achievement when
you kill Vinewrath the first time.

Yeah I’ve got the coat/gloves (can’t remember which), mask, and boots currently unlocked in the merchant, but it was the boots and leggings I was after :P
