Get rich quick
Depends on how quick…
But if you do all easy dungeons/teq/SW chest train, etc. everyday, then you’ll have it within a month or less.
Dungeon tours is probably the quickest way.
First of: Where is this game P2W?
Just because you can buy gold, doesn`t mean that you have any advantage over other players.
Please learn the meaning of these words.
Secondly, you are asking for quite a sum there. As Cyvien has said, yo can rack it up in a month.
Third: Shed out some cash. This is not P2W, but if you want it fast and not work for it ingame, then you have always this option.
Fourth: Try playing the TP, don`t know how it works, but that`s a way.
The last method would be the luck RNG way. Try to get a precursor, they sell pretty good.
As you can see, have luck, pay up, or work for it.
I like the word “need” here, lol.
Want it now? Gotta buy it.
Don’t mind waiting? Farm (SW, dungeons, etc) and/or do some investing in the TP.
If you’ve been playing for a while, clean out your materials bank into the TP. I do that once or twice a year and usually make a couple hundred gold from doing so.
Crafting exotics from surplus mats can be profitable, too, but do your research first to make the most of it (some stat combos are worth more than others, but it fluctuates).
Good luck.
Try to get a precursor, they sell pretty good.
lol, I admire your optimism
Dungeon Tours as well sell t6mats, ectos and Lodestones.
Good Luck o/

Not entirely true. If you put in the cash, you get more inventory space and top tier weapon/weapons/runes/sigil “instantly” while a person who have just reached lvl 80 on his character have to put in a significant amount of hours for them. This is a clear advantage. It puts you ahead of others.
Overall, I would say that there is some sense of P2W in this game, although it doesn’t give you nearly as a big advantage when compared to most other mmorpgs.

Just don’t die trying. :p

For a few weeks, a month at best. Then they will catch up, and you will find you can’t continue to “get ahead” anymore. And of course that advantage will happen within the time where you are still mostly clueless, and don’t know how to utilize it. By the time you get enough experience, those other players will catch up, and will be as experienced as you are.
TL/DR: there is no cash shortcut for skill and experience, and those matter in gw2 way more compared to gear than in other MMOs
Remember, remember, 15th of November
Buy a crap ton of an item thats high demand jacking the price up then sell for more.

It is still possible if he wants quick cash. these are the high demand items on the TP, so yeah. Statistical speaking “quick” is relative, but if he is lucky…
On P2W. Yes, you have items quicker then others. So what? The advantage is simply that you don`t have to spend hours ingame.
Most things are convinience, as the normal gear and stuff is very afoordable and easy to get.
However you aren`t stronger, faster or better than other players through money.
If you suck at the game, money won`t help you ,aside from paying someone to play for you.
People are peeing all over buying gold/gems on the BLTP. The reality of it is that content, expansions and salaries are paid with the revenue generated from gold/gem/fluff sales.
The $50 or less you might have paid to purchase the game initially is not going to carry the expenses very far.
I need 500 odd gold any ideas apart from pay to win?
What is the pay to win part? Buying gems then converting to gold? What do you win from that again? A larger credit card statement? Certainly isn’t that the weapon you want is any more powerful than what can be obtained without buying gems.
Just not sure what is won other than a skin and higher CC bill.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
Two weeks of dedicated dungeon farming will net you 500g+ providing you sell most of the mats you receive in that time. If you can’t run Arah efficiently then hit dungeons along with some world bosses also worth doing rich ore run if you’ve got the watchwork pick.
P2W? Someone could buy a ledg via gems to gold yet another person could easily obtain the same ledg with two months of dungeon farming. They both get the same item. Its down to time, I personally have enough time to farm dungeons four hours a day whereas others don’t. People also have bigger entertainment budgets than others.
What really needs to be asked is what advantage does that gems to gold user really achieve? Apart from a skin anyone who is dedicated enough can obtain. There is nothing wrong with buying gems but don’t confuse Guild Wars 2 with a pay to win model.
I have a suggestion:
Speculatively post on the forum that you need 500 gold under the pretense of actually looking for ideas on earning it, but secretly hope that some benevolent forum goer sends you the money.
Simple guilde to get rich extremely fast, in just a few minutes:
Buy Gems with money or Gem Cards > Convert Gems to Gold > Enjoy Gold because now you are rich.
Make an Asura and sell hugs to people.
