Get rid of DR -Diminishing Returns
DR has gotten out of hand because it prevents us the players from playing the way we want to.
Everything prevents the players from “playing the way we want to.”
People want their dailies and monthlies for free because that’s the way they want to “play.”
As for DR I think the line about preventing exploits is garbage. They do it to prevent grinders from getting a bigger hold on the economy, and thus their way of selling gems. At the very least, the idea of losing money by removing DR isn’t making them remove it any faster.
It’s a free-to-play game. They find ways of nickel-and-diming people. There’s nothing else to expect.

No it really isnt, I dont know about you but i paid $60 for this game.

Yeah its not free to play but more like pay once to play. On the topic on hand i feel that DR is needed although hated by many because it adds varity to the dungeons and like Chickenshoes said it prevents grinders from gaining an advantage over the market.

From what I gather, the OP is whining about his inability to steamroll CoF1 all day every day while receiving maximum reward. In this case, NO NO NO.
But if I want to fully clear CoE, AC and wrap the day off with Arah, there’s no bloody reason why should I receive less tokens and dosh. In this case, YES YES YES.

I wasn’t aware there were any numbers reflecting the majority are dungeon runners. You might be right though, most of the serious pvpers are long gone. Perhaps the open worlders will be following.

The reason they needed a lockdown in other games were because they offered gear proggesion,Wrong to even compare gw2 dungeons to them tbh.
That said, I find token DR to be fine, what is unacceptable is DR that is less obvious.
I hate DR too like most others do, but others are right in saying that it is absolutely necessary – and the OP was a perfect example. However, the loot system overall in GW2 needs to be changed slightly – because I don’t see how it could hurt for open world champions to drop rares or even exotics once in a while, especially if you had the balls to take it on yourself. certainly gives you a sense of accomplishment rather than disappointment when you find you just put your time & effort into nothing.
I don’t think dungeon token DR should be removed, it’s easy enough to farm CoF, wait 2 hours, swap toons, farm it again. If you’re too lazy to make alts and wait to run it again, that’s not the developer’s fault. On a side note though, DR for other drops is complete bullkitten. They need to change it back to whatever system they were using in GW1 because it worked and players were happy with it…..This system goes against everything this game stands for and makes it frustrating to even do the simplest of farming, because you never know when the perma-DR is gonna slap you in the face and make it pointless to continue farming for the rest of the day.
