When I started playing, I thought about my order as a specialization or something. I wasn’t made aware at all that my choice would influence my cosmetics future. Now I want an armor my main cannot use because my main isn’t of that order.

For new characters I carefully chose my order before selecting it at level 30 based on the armors available for that character. But for older ones I’m stuck with my choice of having one character of each order despite the armor choices are underwhelming compared to another.

I know I pressed “ok” when I was told ingame this would be a permanent choice. But I was never told this choice would be exclusive over time. So would it be possible to make it so characters can join a second or even all orders with new quests?

Yes, I want that armor badly.

you can transmute order armour (all armour actually) onto white and it is account bound.

Had the same problem and solved it the same way as Yargesh said.

Get second character in the order you want.

Buy item you want on second character.

Buy a white item matching the itemtype.

Use gold transmutation stone to get the visual appearance onto the white item.

Transfer the white item to primary character.

Use full transmutation stone to put some nice juicy level 80 exotic stats on the item.

Wear it.

you can get another Order’s armour already- just have a character who belongs to the the Order whose armour you want buy it

- use a transmute crystal (80) to transmute it onto a white item with that character.
This will make it account bound.

Take it out with the character you want it on and transmute onto the stats you want- using another transcrystal

Oh, I knew this worked for weapons. I never thought about using it for armors, silly me.
