It realy bothers me whenever I get DC in the middle of an event, or – worse – right before the end of it – and end up in totally different map. Sometimes I have internet connection problems and I get DC while doing an event. Like today: we were finishing Octavines in Auric Basin, and just when we were about to make all of them dead – I got DC. But when I logged in (about 20 seconds after that) I was in a different map, where there was absolutely noone. I tried few things, but couldn’t get back there, where I was hoping for the loot. Why can’t I go back to the exact same map I was before the DC, while I was doing this event? I took me a lot of time but in the end – no loot at all! Only because of DC I have no control of. That is not fair.

Only solution currently is to be in a party, or join a squad so you can hopefully get back into the same instance.

You’re not the first to complain about it and won’t be the last, I too have been there.
I still hope they can/will make someway to ensure your spot on the map for 2-3 mins after a dc, at least if you’re in a squad or party.
I ended up not going to the HoT maps at all after too many dc’s from t4 VB or a perfect DS – one dc and miss on loot I can handle, but not wasting hour after hour of work on nothing.

Same and I won’t do long meta events ever again unless we get a “reserved” spot on the map for a couple of minutes in case of dc. I’m tired of working my butt off for nothing.
