Getting reported for false racism?

Q:

From what I understand listed in the picture below, the offended player (not me) must have had their “Profanity Filter” turned on. After said player made the statement that they were “Black” (which I don’t fully understand because I wasn’t calling this person the word we all know and don’t say) and to leave them alone, I had.

But my question is this:

If a player is impeding on your progress to complete a Group Event or a Regular Event or anything player related to any said player, or in other words, harassing a player (or group of players, etc…), how do I get slapped with the “Reported” card and not them?

Clearly in the image I have posted which was taken with “Fraps” (Timestamp on image file) I got aggravated and gave a player a “You do it, it must be fine for me to do it too” response (Obviously not as nicely put since the player did it for more than one Egg Gather which can easily be done by any level 2 with white gear soloing). I just don’t quite understand… At this point I am assuming he/she has Profanity Filter on and doesn’t realize what I have just said, nor does the player realize that I was giving a firm “Cut it out NOW” response.

Just need some clarification on this subject. Thanks much.

Hi Xinterp,

First, I have to say that the team handles every report very carefully, and if they don’t see enough evidence they will dismiss it. Hence, if, for what you are saying, this player missunderstood your words and there was no actual racist offense involved you have nothing to fear.

If you ever get suspended or banned and you think that was wrong, remember that you can open a ticket to support.

In short, the player saying “you are reported” shouldn’t scare you if they don’t have enough evidence to support their claim. New measures have been introduced when dealing with reports asking players to submit as much evidence as possible to help the CS team.

Hope this helps you. Enjoy your journeys and adventures.
Thanks for your understanding,
