Guild Wars 2

Hi, I’m hoping to get started on WvW on my guardian as i’ve done all the other aspects of the game (Spvp,, Tpvp Pve, Dungeons, fractals, exploration), and i’m wondering the best way to go about it.
Should i just find a commander on my side and latch onto them, or would i be better off trying to get a small group together and roaming with that?
I dont understand the dynamics of WvW and how actions affect the end result, so it will all be a learning experience for me.
I play a AH hammer guardian geared in knights and berserkers if that makes any difference. Thinking of swapping my rings for soldier stat rings for more survivability.

Well, you could try both and see if which one you like better. Strategywise it’s better to capture supply camps and harrass caravans with small groups, while bigger zergs clear objectives that are harder to accomplish with smaller group.

wvw is vastly more fun if you have people to play with, I know my server has community voice server and websites, so you can always find people to wvw with, maybe the server your on does to?

Only tip i can give you is make sure your sec weapon is a staff.
blocking them running into there keep is funny as hell.
but def one of the guardians useful weapons in wvw.
