In the attached image is a gem store item that has not been released yet, which looks AMAZING!

Something I hear over and over from the community and friends is that people don’t that the outfits are not individual armor pieces and I always defend ANETS choice on why they exist, there place in the game, why they are a solid skin ect ect.

But if I could ask you to break that rule if not on the most unique piece in each outfit then just do it this once for the head piece on the outfit I linked, I would pay 800 gems for that no problem just to see it with my current gear on my characters and not on an outfit. I would buy the outfit as well because it looks amazing as I said in the start, but just please make the helmet a stand alone skin.

I love guild wars 2 and want to see it adapt and grow into something more amazing each time and I think this will be a good stepping stone into easing the communities feelings on outfits.

The headpiece is unique…… and doesn’t fit the rest of the outfit which imo is average, nothing special.

Agreed, I would shove my wallet with 5000 gravital force through my screen if that headpiece was a solo-sale. I’d easily pay a 1000 gems for that!

Headpiece looks great – the rest of it is just decent.
Why can’t we mix and match this headpiece with our regular armor again?

I previewed it, and was much relieved. I can’t wait for it to show up on the BLC.

Anet pleeeeeeeeeease make the helm of the ghostly outfit standalone. Would easily pay 1000 gems for it by itself. It’s what the people want!

I would love to be able to mix and match head pieces on outfits with other skins.

I want either this outfit or marjory’s new outfit. Or both. I can have both. I realllllly want both.

this is the glaring issue with making outfits and not armour skins, many of us feel the same way about almost every other armour, “i want that part of it but not thew whole set”.

Anet are sitting on a goldmine and we’re all waiting…hoping for them to cash-in and release outfits as armour skins.
i don’t think there is a single outfit that i wouldn’t buy if they were armour skins.

I would rather buy an outfit in pieces for 2000 gems than a single outfit for 700 gems.
But why? Braham’s armor had the helm, boots and gloves seperately. There are seperate Pirate pieces now. And then there’s Scarlets armor pieces. Those are all sold as seperate pieces. Many outfits like this one are very generic, with 1 or 2 unique pieces. Why not just sell those 1-2 unique pieces, like in this case the helm.

I really miss GW1’s version of outfits, where you had hats and outfit separately, and could enable/disable them separately. (Even set them to on/off separately for town/maps).

Still miss town clothes, that you could mix, but sadly those are not coming back. Still not fond of the various tonics I got in exchange

The head reminds me of the Urskek from The Dark Crystal. Except black instead of white. Looks pretty cool. But the rest is boring.

Would be nice but they seem’d to make it clear that it’ll never happen, just like how we’ll never be able to mix armor or have non buttcape skins and never let us hide more armor pieces like feet, chest. They are very very stubborn about those things. I’d love to be able to do whatever I want to with headpieces since mixing hats with outfits/armor, different armor tiers and etc doesn’t cause clipping.
