Giant Destroyer Troll + rewards in general
So basically: Force everyone that want to have the best rewards to use Zerker-stats?

I dont quite understand you. Want lewt? Run in zergs or farm chests. Want a hard fight? Solo troll. Want to show off? Stream solo troll on utube.

This is pretty much how it works at the moment. Damage (especially AoE) is king.
I’m getting silver rewards once in a while on my very defensive Necromancer who does quite a bit of healing and is often the (last) one (standing) who gets people up on their feet.
I always get gold on my Berserker Elementalist who does tons of AoE damage.
One problem is how event scaling works. The fight usually becomes a lot easier with more people although boss health and adds scale up a bit. And it become more rewarding due to more loot (from the adds).
While it is good that team-play is rewarded it’ s bad that difficulty or effort is not.
I understand ( 4 lvl 80’s running around everyday), I can’t remember that last time I saw and an exotic drop -anywhere, other than junk spoons at Teq. It really ins’t specific to the troll.
My idea would be a separate loot table for an event which rewards participants based on the amount of activity during the event. Damage, damage mitigation, healing rezzes … all adds up and results in a ratio with100% being the maximum which can obviously only reached when soloing the event.
I think that vanity items (account-bound skins and minis) would be best suited for such a loot table Also, when the skins/minis are related to the event/boss it isn’t required to balance vanity loot according to difficulty. It would be well known which bosses/events are harder and therefore which skins/minis have “more value”.

Wouldn’t that create a problem with people abusing others trying to do the event if you want to solo it for extra stuff?

Hence the idea with the separate loot table.
Zerg == Currency
Small group / Solo == Prestige
The problem with people being unfriendly to each other already exists, e. g. when people want events to fail.
I think it’s perfectly OK to ask friendly in map chat, if you want to solo or two-man stuff. If it doesn’t happen, you just take the currency you earn in a bigger group. Also from my experience there are quite a few bosses which rarely anybody bothers to fight. I think I even have an idea why that is …
