For the slayer achievement I cant find any. Well I do have credit for 1 but I have no clue where it was. Where is a good place to hunt these down at?

There’s one in Diessa Plateau that’s always busting up Nageling.

There a risen giants in Orr

I don’t think the risen giants count as giants, only as risen. I’ve killed several and not gained points from them.

There is actually a spot that spawns normal giants. It spawns more than one if there are multiple players. They’re not even veteran level.

But in all serious if you’re actually going for giant slayer shoot me a PM. Extra people means more giants!

There’s one in an event in Harathi Hinterlands. The Wiki says there’s also one in Brisban Wildlands, and that’s the only non-Champion hostile giant in the game.

Yeah, punched out the one in Nageling earlier today while poking around for Flame ‘n Frost stuff. Kind of dumb that the risen giants don’t count towards that.

Risen Giants – and in fact all Risen, as far as I can tell, including non-humanoids – simply fall under the “Risen” category. For a list of giants who do fall within the correct NPC category, examine:

Sif kill 1000 giants….whoever thought of this needs a slap in the face.

There simply isn’t enough of them to make this a viable achievement.

Yeah, my idea of fun doesn’t include camping Nageling for the next 3 years in order to complete the giant slayer. lol

I seriously hope in an expansion or something that someone will consider adding non-champion giants in greater numbers for this.

oh lol this is bad. There are what? Two giants in the entire game that we can kill and they want us to kill the same two to tally 1k kills? I tried to solo the one in Diessa Plateau, I suggest you go with a group. He seems to have a health reset bug, which is really annoying on such a high health target.

The three that count are:
Nageling Event in Diessa Plateau
Harathi Hinterlands
Crucible of Eternity Story Mode Risen Monster

I know the last one counts as when we did it the other night, upon its death I dinged 10 giant kills.

There is one in kessex hills aswell he is even nice enough to open and share his loot with you if you clear all the ettins from his cave

Except you cannot kill him and get a +1 on your giant kill counter….

You can camp Toxal Bog for 25 to 50 hours. :p

Idea!: New achievement – “Kill 1000 Giants with a Focus, Warhorn or Shield”. 5 tiers and on completion you get the title “Masochist” or maybe “Misanthropist” because you hate people in general but especially yourself for putting you through all that.

Maybe the giants will come down out of the Wayfarer hills, what with all the bad weather and stuff..
