Guild Wars 2

I feel like this might be in the wrong forum subject but, I’m wondering if there is anyway to gift Guild Wars 2 to a friend or someone you know who wants it.

I know I have someone I know who wants to play the game so, I wonder if there is some way to gift the game to someone?

I may be missing something here but, is there a reason you cannot hand/send them a box ?

I don’t remember the exact details, but I gifted the electronic version to my son…and it worked fine. I just purchased the game and then e-mailed him the link to download and activate…which he did with his own e-mail address. Seemed to work without a hitch.

Yes, this should work fine. Merely email your friend the unused code that you get when you purchase. When he registers it and makes an account he will be the account owner.
