I have no interest in making a legendary weapon. However, I do like to get 100% completion on the various maps. This means that I, and probably many others, have gifts meant for the creation of legendary weapons and nothing to do with them.

Is there any way we can trade these gifts in for any of the various currencies (dungeon, jungle, etc.) or one of the numerous unique exotic weapons?

Gift of exploration can be used by scribes to make a huge globe of the whisperers. Other than that there is no use except legendaries.

Just build legendaries with them if you have spare Gifts of Exploration and sell them for 1 copper less on TP. Each legendary you craft is about 1000 gold of profit.
The HoT legendaries cannot be sold though

If finishing the legendary by yourself doesn’t appeal, then you can also help a friend get one.

  • They supply all the transferable mats.
  • You supply all the account bound costs.
  • They throw in some form of compensation (typically in the form of gold, usually about half the difference between the “buy now” and “sell immediately” costs of the legendary, as calculated on sites such as GW2efficiency or gw2bltc.com), in effect paying you for your karma, time, etc.

I know a couple of people who ‘sold’ their services in this way and a handful who helped friends.
