What’s the general consensus on which of these is more profitable in the long run? I’ve heard a lot of people suggest the gilded infusion pays more, but no matter where I go I seem to make a lot more gold out of drops than straight-up coins. I imagine it depends to some extent on where you’re playing and what you’re killing, but I do a bit of everything so it’s tough to say where I spend the most time.

I would say the Gilded Infusion because eventually the 20% more gold will add up while the 20% MF is put on faith that its doing something.

If you do a lot of Dungeons, go for the gold. If you do a lot of events in Orr, go for the magic find.

If you do both, then buy both >.<

I figured MF would be better in dungeons, I seem to make more gold off drops than from corpse coins but I could be wrong about that. Does anyone know of any testing that’s been done?

I got the gilded one.

20% more gold > 20% mf

Think of it this way, the rare and exo drops are like very small, so 20% of something really small means almost nothing. If u have a 0.01% chance of exotics to drop, that 20% gets you at a total of 0.012%. The numbers are random, just wanting to illustrate what i mean.

Also, another thing is that, as far as i know, most people use omnoms especially for the gold increase, the mf increase coming second.

Glided is for people who farm dungeons a lot. You get a lot more silver from the bosses. And gold is not hit by DR

Magical is for people who farm events a lot and wear MF gear all the time. MF absolutely works. The people who tell you otherwise either have hit DR and keep on grinding without resetting, or people who use it outside of events.

Well, I do tend to do an event or two most days… I don’t know, I guess I could go for gilded as it seems helpful no matter what you’re doing and my preferences change all the time. At the moment I’m doing map completion, but I could go back to fractal farming or dungeon running at any moment.
