Give more warning when removing content
I agree 100% OP. Content should never be removed without warning. It’s the wrong thing to do.
I hated Twilight Arbor forward up (over all TA is one of my least favorite dungeons), but I think people need to know when something is being removed.
I can sort of see why Anet plays their cards close to their chest. The forums are like a cesspool of blind hate for all changes, so why should they say stuff, but in spite of that, I think they just have to make these announcements earlier and give people a chance to digest them.
It sucks i was planning on finally trying out those paths tomorrow and now one will be gone.

Most people hate hotw 2 and 3, se 2, ac 2 and cof 3. Hopefully Anet doesn’t just delete them as well. I’d rather they fix them – lower boss HP would be a great start.

I agree. It should have been fixed. However, what I find with TA is that too much of the paths are repeated anyway for my taste. No matter what path I was running it felt basically like the same thing.

Absolutely. I can’t wait for the mixture between MF and AR new dungeon path but deleting an existing path altogether just doesn’t make sense. All of a sudden I am not looking forward to the fractal update if it means 2-3 fractals will be deleted.

Yea I’m a little bummed only cuz I never got around to running it. Totally my fault; I’ve been playing the game for a year. But I didn’t think they’d remove a dungeon path with almost no notice.

yes, and a lot of people paid money for those karma boosters, but Anet doesn’t give a kitten how they abuse your trust.

Yeah but that path really REALLY sucked. Particularly the end boss, which was pretty much broken by my standards. It could be beat, if you ran a specific meta and prayed to the old gods, but it wasn’t in any way fun.

There is no excuse for your company to have such a disconnect from such a basic concept. Your customers give you money, show a little respect and put some effort into better communication.

I spend a lot of time on the forums but I don’t go to every sub section and I don’t really want to at all.
I feel that ArenaNet could improve their communication.

If you are okay with things in this game then I’m happy for you. I want things to be better than they are now.
Sooo you flatout lied to us when you said youd be giving us new permanent content in the form of an additional dungeon path. This is replacement content. Not what we wanted, go back to the drawing board. TAFU merely needed the boss to be reverted to the way he was to be one of the more played paths again, no need to delete it =/ Myself and other players still ran this path for some extra challenge.. This is not what you have been promising us, at all.
I was really looking forward to this patch, now im debating wether to log on for it at all -.-
I missed the communication about changing crafting which no longer adds ten levels… I missed many many things that I would have liked to know about but don’t comb over every post in the forums and I don’t use twitter…

Sorry, I don’t like to visit EVERY sub forum to find by chance a change to the game which could be relayed to the players in a more effective manner.

Mentioning in a livestream a day before patch that an entire dungeon path is getting nuked, and explaining the reason for it in a minor subforum is not what I would call adequate communication.
I do agree that some forewarning that path 1 was being replaced would have been nice. I’d never actually had a chance to do it. When I read the release info for the upcoming patch and it said ‘new path’ I did not interpret it as ‘replaces existing path.’
I’m not screaming about it, but I am a little bummed. Communication is key in all good relationships. Something as simple as “This new path will replace” blah blah on the release flier page would have been fine.
