Guild Wars 2

So i have been playing on and off for quite some time now, and even since beta i really hated this smooth camera turning in the game. It absolutely ruins my game experience, its the only thing i don’t like with the game and i can’t see why they still have not added an option to turn this thing off. Im sure some people really like it but whats the harm in adding a option to turn it off? Would make both PvP and general playing much more pleasant and responsive, its also been asked by big streamers that used to play the game and alot of other people.

If you have no clue what im on about you might have played WoW previously, the camera in there is just a normal one and thats how i wish it would be in GW2 aswell. Don’t tell me to kitten off to WoW because i really, really like GW2. Its just a really big thing for me and has really always been, and im sure some people can relate to me on that. So if any dev see this, would you take in consideration to maybe add a option to turn this off if enough people asked for it? And if not, why?

I have the same feeling about this. The camera just feels so atrociously unresponsive and it’s such a shame, because it’s a great game.
I truly hope this will get changed and give people who are used to a camera like this a chance to enjoy the game even more.

I really do hope we can get a response on this and that it doesn’t get buried.
I’ve been wanting more accurate camera movement for months.

Camera improvements would do wonders. In addition to removing the smooth. Adjusting where camera height is centered on the character would also make a huge improvement as currently the camera is too high for asura and way to low for everyone else. This obscures a lot of upward viewing angle and really detracts from the beautiful scenery present in the game.

Indeed, i really hope they can poke in and say something regarding this.
