Since you are enforcing a hardcap on fractals, it’s only natural that we get more than just a crappy amulet’s worth of AR to get back to our old progression.
Why is it that we must wait 8 days to acquire an amulet to get back into the 40s? Why is it that we’ll end up languish in the 40s until everyone catches up in the distant future?
Ascended gear is for progressing in fractals. Just let them all drop in fractals and let us progress again. If people want them for something else, let them wait.
