We have a minor selection of goggles, they’re very cool looking too!
How about, anet; making us players some raised goggles? It would work like the goggles we already have, just above the brow.

The problem is, once you raise the goggles, you lose your hair.

there are several mmos that can work around hairstyles by giving us headpieces/hoods that don’t take away hair.

essentially its because they dont like how its going to clip and look, with various hairs. they dont want to have to have to future proof either hairstyles, or headpieces.

its sucks a bit, but i dont think their is a cheap solution. they could probably make a hairstyle that includes goggles, thats probably about it.

yeeeah i guess the solution to headwear, would be more hairstyle unlocks, but you wouldnt always get a headpiece with your chosen hair style.``

I’ve thought this too, giving us specific hairstyles for X items but clipping they don’t seem too concerned for since half of the shoulder items/ outifts we’re given clip in some way. The goggles can sit a little higher above the head if that’s an issue. If we can have goggles on the face, where the leather strap goes behind the head; then why not raise the sockets above the head? There will always be clipping issues with anything unless you make hairstyles specific to that item only.

The game Soul Calibur 3 released back in 2005, much earlier than GW2 had already solved this issue on their create a soul mode. Their head gear show premade hair with your selected hair color unless you have bald type hair style. This by no mean perfect by it works wonders.

Their armor skin will even removed partly if there is serious clipping with another pieces.

Their cha creation is by far my favorite, too bad it is a fighting game not a mmo.

T3 cultural asura includes head goggles. It’s what Zojia wears (wore?). It also makes you bald and you have to be an asura, but hey. It’s something.
