Tribial armor looks too awesome on necros ( memsers and rangers too )
Give it back to make it usable in both PvE and PvP , you can put it in the gem store if you want.
Anet , why did you remove this armor in the first place !? Give us the reason !

Every time I look at the armor lists when deciding on new sets to try out, I always see tribal and go “that’s perfect! Now lets look where you can get it… awwwwwww…”. Every. Single. Time.

Developer ? Game designer ? Any reply from Anet ?

Yes I’m with you on this. Anet keeps creating new skins (for $), yet the players are still unable to attain all of the skins that were released with the game.

Yeah, wouldn’t hold my breath on a response from Anet if I were you. Not a single Anet employee has commented on any of the PvP-only skins issue in over a year of it being discussed on the forum.

I suppose there’s a minuscule chance they could use them for ascended armor skins when they come out, but I highly doubt it.

IDK why they removed a perfectly good armor set. Also there’s Tribal Armor for Rangers? o.O But good medium armor doesn’t exist. I guess it’s just wishful thinking?

Although they should bring back Elite Scar from GW1 first before Tribal, imo.

We should keep this bumped so they feel compelled to respond.

Even if they were going to reply it wouldn’t be on a Sunday afternoon. Probably the only staff working are ones doing essential things like keeping the servers running and urgent support issues. They’re not going to be checking the forum.

I know, but that doesn’t mean we can’t encourage other enthusiasts to post here. So when they come back in Monday, or Tuesday, there is a healthy view and post count in this thread. Maybe they’ll finally think it warrants a response.

Commando is within the game already. It’s piecemealed out to the player through sections of their Personal Story chain (near the end in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s). Now, if players miss out by not selecting them, that’s their problem. Just equally the same goes for deleting them too.

Again , can any developer tell us why did they remove these armors ?

Suggestions section is for new ideas and items . Tribial armor isn’t new and it was in GW2 months ago !

Remove implies it was actually in the game. It never was (the PvE side that is).

I’d love to see it though. The Dry Bones set just isn’t the same…

Before I ever started playing Guild Wars 2 I was online looking at all the armor sets and picked the Tribal set for my Norn Necromancer. Once I made my Necro and started trying to find the armor set I discovered it was only available in PvP. =/

From what I’ve been told from people who played in Beta, this armor skin was in PvE during the Beta.

Also, there is an npc in Kessex Hills wearing the chest piece (the skill point just North of the Wizard’s Tower.

So please oh pretty please Anet, let us have this armor skin in PvE.

has anyone previewed all the armors you get as rewards from main quests? thats the only place i havent searched my * off to get it.

I can still find my old post on guild guru 2 about this being one of the few armors I was really looking forward to. It would fit my human necro pefectly.

Yup, the gemstore armor skins need to stop. They should be obtainable through in-game feats like beating a dungeon.

I don’t care if they make it a gemstore item. I just really want (NEEEEEEEEEEEEED) this set.

There are never too many awesome skins in the game. You wouldn’t even need to bother the artists to get this one in the game!

You don’t get the gloves or boots from there though (one of the other options for medium classes from those missions is CM armor, also, which is just strange).

Also, while we’re at it, add the Rubric light armor to PVE as well.

Want this, especially for my necromancer.

I’d also like the entire Guild Armor set which, while very similar to the Divinity Guard set, is not the same.

They probably removed it because it was one of the few light armour armour sets that had a fair amount of pieces that worked for Charr. Charr, and light armoured Charr especially, aren’t allowed to have many options.

Yes! Stalwart Armor for PvE please. The only current skin I know of which comes out right is the chest piece in pve, I want the stalwart shoulders, only medium shoulders which look good on human males ingame :P

Evidently it didn’t work. The exclusive armors didn’t lure players in to do actual PvP. Instead they ask for it to be put in carebear country as well. And honestly I don’t blame you, for the simple fact that an armor acquisition in PvP is much less attractive than one in PvE.
A way to keep both would be to make any unlock in PvP – including the two (and any future) exclusive armor sets – count for PvE as well, i.e. you would unlock the ability to craft/buy the skin for PvE use.
That would be a workable solution. And of course reduce the rank grind for skins in PvP.

Hello, give us access to this armour please? Nobody plays this weird pvp, the pvp lobby on my server has been empty for more than 6 months.

Hello ANet, will you finally bring Tribal light armor back to PvE? Or finally answer our questions about it? People are asking about it for more than a year yet there was no answer from you.
