I am so happy right now, here’s why:

I was opening a BLC and BAM! A permenant bank access came out, which I sold for 197 gold! I have been sending 1 gold each to my friends, but one of them said I could get banned for gold selling? Help? I really wanted to share it.

You’re fine. Someone sent me 300 gold to buy mats for their legendary, someone else sent me 100 gold for doing balth. Neither of them are banned. It’s not going to happen with 1 gold.

You can’t get banned for selling gold if all you’re doing is giving it away.

thay would also have to report you as a gold seller and than Anet would take a look to see if you have actualy been sending out mail saying “BUY CHEEP GOLD” ETC

Seriously, you’re not asking for any real world money in return, so you’re fine
You CAN buy ingame-services from other players for gold, after all – at least you could in GW1 (rush to XY etc.). There’s the trust issue involved, but all in all…well, as long as it stays ingame and no illegal activity was used to earn it, you’re fine.

I think there is an achievement with a title linked to it.
“Golden” I think.
You need to deposit 200g in your bank to get it.

Thats what you could start to do, before spending it again^^

I think I may just let it sit in my bank.. I never buy anything anyway

People in my guild have been banned for sending 10g, one person was banned twice for the same mistake.

We send gold all the time and we are fine.
ps: just in case you have no idea how to spend it, I have several and will gladly tell you how ;p
