why dont u put this important inforamtion in the patch notes?
im working on frostfang and didnt understand why i couldnt go on.
i had to use google to find this post cause the forum didnt find anythig for “glacial imbued jar”.
when will u enable it again??? and please inform about such things in the patch notes !!!

Its probably because the jar wasnt disabled when a new patch was shipped but inbetween patches.

But i agree, it couldnt hurt to also write it in the next patch note update.
Or create a sticky somewhere, were currently disabled game features are listed and their status updated.

Because anything that doesnt require client update is not getting into patch notes because god knows why.

Any word when this is being reactivated, i crafted the jar before reading this and now i dont know when I’ll be able to finish my Journey.

When will this be enabled? My perfect axe is very thirsty! She doesn’t like Gatorade and only drinks the finest of H2Os.

I’m more interested to know why it was disabled. Bugs? exploits? Something else?

Does anyone know how much of the collection you can actually finish before the fix? I just killed the ice elemental in the Snow Blind Fractal and it counted.

Did you even read your own post before clicking reply? If they didn’t care, they would obviously not have added precursor hunts in the 1st place.

If they cared, they’d have done them right, and not in a way that makes many of us wish we never asked for it.

Sadly no, I tried the Dry Top one and it gave the content disabled message.

Maybe it’ll be fixed on the 17th when the Raid goes live and the new legendaries will be made available.

We have temporarily disabled the Glacial Imbued Jar (part of the Legendary Journey for Frostfang). Players will be unable to progress FrostFang III: Tooth of Frostfang until we enable it again.

Sadly it appears to still be disabled with todays patch. The silence regarding this matter is rather deafening.

Ugh, was hoping it was fixed.

Not even an explanation of why it is disabled, or a possible timeframe.

So when is this going to be fixed? I crafted the jars without knowing that it was disabled since I heard that the raids patch was going to address the precourser issues, I guess I was wrong? It’s been almost 3 weeks now…what the hell guys?

I’m still making axe heads and hafts -_-. Stupid Deldrimor Ingots! lol :-P

I think it’s best to just continue asking for what we actually wanted.

ANet has implemented a system to drain mats and gold from the economy, which just happens to have some tangential relationship to precursor acquisition.

I still want a system by which we can acquire a precursor through a simple investment of time, rather than money, and which is not reliant on RNG.
Nothing like that exists in game, so it seems reasonable to continue to ask for it.

its not all gold investment, alot of it does require time, all the stuff you make is account bound, sure some of the stuff you can buy off the TP, but some of it you can’t, I love the new system personally you know…aside from the system-breaking bugs
