The second patch today, the note about legendaries:

-Stats of legendary weapons have been returned to normal.

I´m a bit terrified they crush my hope with steel boots come tomorrow, but i´m still optimistic.

All that means is they prematurely released the higher stat legendaries in the first patch by mistake, instead of over time as they release more ascended gear. The second patch fixed it.

That line is with regards to a bug that was granting Legendaries the power of Ascended items, even though Ascended weapons hadn’t been released yet.

Rest assured, they ARE getting that buff in the future.
