I think it would be interesting to have dyes that give off a faint glow to match like the dynamic tempered spinal backpiece. Have a glow variant of each colour would be awesome and would make more dyes to collect.

As “cool” as some people will undoubtedly view your suggestion as being — I for one see farther into the future where everyone and their mother is running around specked out in glow dyes, legendary weapons, and whatever other fancy that was concocted between now and then to further help those that must measure each other. Can you imagine what glow dyes would eventually lead to?

I think this is probably far too complex to implement. Going off what’s been said about Sylvari design, glow patterns seem to be quite hard to work in. When you factor in that the glow would have to be working across what the game registers as different materials, and do this in varying patterns/sizes/etc, I get the feeling it would be prettty complex. Having specific armours the glow probably isn’t too difficult, but making a dye channel that will work on all existing armours and glow is probably too hard

Difficulty is irrelevant. This is the internet and we demand shinies NOW!

The game needs more glitzy, fluffy, sparkle stuff!

I think they are saving that for legendary armor

I would much rather they just enable dyes for glowing armor skins (radiant, hellfire, toxic, etc.) instead of releasing yet another dye that you have to pay for the pleasure of gambling for (seriously, RNG dye kits for special dyes is just a low blow).

If nothing else it’ll let people match toxic shoulder and glove skins to Mawdrey.

I think they should add sequins. And maybe feather boas. (Moa boas?)

And definitely, definitely female armour options for female Asura (I WANT MY BUTTERFLIES!!!)

im okay with all the shinies. the more shinies other people have the easier it will be for me to dominate them in pvp.

Any seizure inducing dye items must also play this tune in-game:
