Much of the screen clutter in recent living stories and fights is making nearly impossible to keep track of the mouse. The color is easy to get lost in fights with lots of screen effects to keep track of. Can we get an option to change the pointer’s brightness and color shift so it stands out on the screen?

I know that you are asking Anet to make the change to the mouse setting in game, but to the best of my knowledge it’s something that they haven’t really given a definitive answer on whether they will or can make that change.
I personally use a game cursor changer called Yolomouse https://pandateemo.github.io/YoloMouse/ which works very well in doing what you are asking for, maybe you can give that a try.

Yolomouse is an amazing and lightweight little program. I can definitely second that.

I used yolomouse to get my cairn achievement, I failed often cause I had no clue where my cursor was… Yolomouse fixed it.

Agreed! I had the same issues as you. With so much clutter on screen, it’s easy to lose your cursor.

Get Yolomouse, you’ll never have issues with that again. Just set it right and you’re golden.

i just use the windows thingy where you click whatever button you set it to, to make your cursor flash with a giant circle. That helps for most part

It supports my statement. Anet could provide us with an ingame option to change the cursor, but instead we are bound to use a 3rd party software – which I’m fine with.

I might have to give in and try this YoloMouse. I’m losing my cursor all the time.
