Not too far away now is the day when I’ll have my first level 80 character. This means I need to start concerning myself with the ‘endgame’, aka what I should be doing after hitting 80. I only have a few goals in mind right now:
-100% map completion
-crafting/finding/buying a full set of exotic gear
-completing every path of every dungeon at least once
What else is there in PvE? What do you guys do with your 80s?

I spend most of my time doing dungeons and wvw. It helps that I have 6 lvl 80s and 1 more on the way.
You can do guild missions and fractals to get your ascended trinkets. You can work on making a legendary weapon. You can wait till later this year when they have said they will add new legendaries, including new types, and I believe they said ascended weapons and/or armor.
What you ‘should’ be doing is enjoying yourself. You already have some goals laid out and thats a good start. Too many people want Anet or other players to tell them what they need to be doing or strive for.
Go dabble in everything and find out what you like to do and enjoy yourself
I’ve become a pretty big fan of the living story. There’s always something going on. You don’t need to be a max level character to participate, but some of the events are pretty cool. Right now the events in the pavillion are fast and furious.
By the way if you ever feel like you’re running out of things to do, stop and type /age and remember that you only paid $60 bucks (or equivalent) for so many hours of quality entertainment. I mean, I ran out of things to do in Skyrim, but not GW2, and they cost me the same amount of money (no monthly fees).
We’ll stop to sleep when the game is the best possible game we think it can be. We’ve been awake since March 2007! Please help! “GW2 the game with more rolls than roles!”
