Guild Wars 2

I logged in this morning and saw I had a message in my mail. Figured it had to be yet another in a long line of gold seller mail because that seems to be the norm every time I log in anymore. Sure enough it was. So I proceeded to follow the routine of reporting them and then deleting the piece of junk except…I couldn’t delete it. Enclosed in the mail was 1c. I know its only 1c but I certainly don’t want to accept it and I don’t want that ugly thing sitting in my box either. So where do I go form here?

Mail the 1c back to them?

If I had a cent for each goldseller… I’d be a millionaire!

Ok ok, I wouldn’t, but hell, this way I’ll appreciate them more :P

They should really show they care and send at least a silver per mail.

Ah this is definitely a clever move on their part, shouldn’t take too long for it to be sorted though, and you’ll at that point probably have deletion of the attached items enabled, in which case they’ll probably urge players to delete and not accept the 1c

It’s interesting to think about WHY they enclose the 1c and the possible ramifications of accepting this ill gotten 1c and how it would affect the possible tracing of these funds etc.

Reading the dev tracker and doing forum searches is a good idea.

Copper is copper. I took it and then reported them. Hopefully they continue to be this successful and send me a few silver, or gold.
