Heya folks.

Latly i am going for my legendary and i am currently farming gold to spend it on dawn. (No mystic toilet rng for me) I do this by clearing out dungeons and teq everyday. But i feel it is going too slow and after i am done with dungeons i have no idea what else to do to farm gold. Multiple people adviced me to do pavillion farm which they seem to get 100g every 3 hours. (Which i think is a lie.) But can any one provide me with tips to do to get gold? I like this game and i play it quit alot.

Thanks for the advice you can provide me with!

The trading post is not what i want to do. Playing the trading post doesn’t give me the feeling of been rewarded as seeing my number grow from doing dungeons or selling my blues and greens.

yeah, dungeons and world bosses are going to be your best bet if you are not going to play the TP. Also the champ train in frostgorge can help. Yes champion bags have had their cash nerfed, but still you can get mats to sell, or upgrade to T6 to use for legendary or sell. EotM might be a good place as well, lots of loot bags and event rewards if you don’t know what do to after dungeons. Just an idea.

100g/3 hours is a lie. Nothing can get you that amount except for TP flipping.

There is no proper way to get gold anymore outside of dungeons (maybe EOTM but I don’t see it as viable)

Anet has nerfed all farming because they don’t want players making too much gold, as that limits opportunities to sell gems for gold. Why do you think they include that reminder after every BLTC blogpost?

Best gold farm is a real-world job. Trade real $$ for gold. Designed to funnel money to anet.

In-game, unless you wanna play the Excel game called Trading Post, you’ll be limited by rng, who laughs at you everyday.

Without trading post i think its like that:
Dungeons>World Bosses>Node Farming>Champ Train/EOTM. Also dont forget to do your Guild missions every week.
Rest is basically forget it if you want to make any gold.
Oh and how much do you play the game that you finish your dungeons and still have so much time? A full tour for max profit is like 3-4 hours. Add dailies to that, maybe some more pvp and then maybe playing the game normally or a world boss tour.. i never felt after dungeons “there is nothing to do anymore”

The Crown Pavilion is pretty decently profitable if you get in one that can consistently get gold rewards. It’s farming, and can feel kinda grindy after a while, so I’d suggest changing bosses periodically, unless you find one you find fun to fight.
You’re also not limited like dungeons, and there’s chances of getting some nice skin drops (the boxes contain champ bags so any rare skin you can get from those should be able to drop here, like the rapier at about 10g)
This method does heavily depend on the RNG, but you can sell all the greens, you get some mats from the bags, and the festival tokens can be traded for random t6 mats (at a crappy rate but its something)

I only do easy and quick paths of dungeons. Stop about 1 o’clock for teq and short after that i am done. Then i start world bosses. After world bosses i am stuck like. What o what should i do? But i won’t spend real life money for gold. I normally don’t buy gems with gold becease i want to support the devs. But i’ve tried trading post before. Wasn’t that much fun. But pavillion isn’t the best way to get money but it is fun. That is exactly what i want xD. But i will try out eotm then too. If it gives stable money then it would be worth it for me to do that more often after world bosses.

I have to say that with the Megaserver in full swing, you can make ok coin in Cursed Shore (ya, I know, now they’re gonna nerf it into oblivian again ’cuz I said it). This is due to events being done constantly. You will need to WP around the map a bit, but every day I can easily do every temple in CS, plus many, many other champs and events that spawn huge amounts of mobs (Pent defend, Shelter defend, Jofast camp, Plinx, etc). Since the latest patch this is my only way of making money, since I am not too into dungeons. This will also help you get more T5 mats to upgrade and a good amount of T6 mats too.

I would like to get into a good Crown Pavilion group run, but so far I’ve only been in there with ZERG people and it was awful.
