Q:
Golem Mark 2
It’s not “doesnt want to find places” it’s anet not wanting you people to trivialize content. They should triple the range of his pound attacks’ aoes. You want to do the fight? You pay the risk.
But then again, you can go bearbow as much as you want.
Then what on earth is the point of being a ranger Aidan? There’s plenty of bosses who I have to ‘pay’ as you say.
I’m a tactical player young man.
As long as the contribution system remains as is, it doesn’t matter what ArenaNet does. Simply hit it once, then AFK outside of the area.
Hah! I haven’t done Golem lately, so I don’t know when that was added, but it’s probably for the best. As a ranger, it’s easy enough for me to fight from the stairs, without having an elevated platform where nothing can hit me to fight from.
I thought it was neat when I discovered I could get up there, but it was a cheap tactic just the same. They’re not going to block every cheap tactic, so there might still be some safe spaces, but I don’t mind them dealing with this.

It isnt “tactical” to sit on a longbow going pewpew at an immobile boss with predictable attacks. Being a ranger is MORE than using a longbow. That you think it’s only so means you dont understand how anet’s even using the name to describe the class. And frankly I dont care about rangers. They suck balls compared to GW1’s rangers.

Your joking right, its a world boss, that has a massive deadly AoE attack, everyone at that boss its 1,1,1, move to the right to avoid AoE, 1,1,1,1,1, dodge roll back, to avoid AoE, move back in 1,1,1,1 collect loot, just like most world bosses.
Look I really didn’t mean it to be ‘cheap tactic’. I’ve been a ranger for over 8 years from gw1/2 and I can help with battle if I find a good vantage, in the same way rangers have little defence in Melle.
It really isn’t ‘cheap’ as a ranger with my bow to find somewhere in battle that I can find others can’t.
I’m a Ranger, it’s what I do.
It’s fitting that it looks like a huge middle finger, since that stupid spire seems to be there specifically to spite rangers.
It’s only slightly easier than standing on the stairs (the ground pound could still hit you up there, btw), so I don’t know why they went to the effort.

You’ve confused “ranger” with “profession that attacks at range”. Rangers have plenty of options that deliver more damage or support than finding a single spot to park and pling magical arrows, without fear of retaliation by the world boss.
