I recently managed to get 5 complete Black Lion Tickets, I was finally going to get my hands on the one weapon skin I have been aiming for for the past several months.

Since Anet has always (I think?) mentionned before when they were removing certain sets from the merchants before actually doing so, I figured I wasn’t at risk, and maybe but not necessarily, hope that some of it would be at a discount, as it has happened before.

You probably get where this is going by now. Zodiac weapons seem to have left without so much as a mere mention? This makes me pretty sad. : ( Part of me hopes that it’s because they will make a comeback, but I’m also doubtful with the outrageous prices on the tp.

I guess part of it is on me for waiting for so long and taking for granted that we would be warned, but I still think that getting a heads up a couple of days before would still be the best alternative.

It might be a bug, I’d report it. The wiki doesn’t say they’re unlisted.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they start cycling them as time goes on. This keeps their “rarity” high and drives BL Key sales.

Zodiac were removed a few patches ago. I cant remember if it was announced, but there was a thread about it. It generally seems not to be policy to announce removal dates for BL weapons anymore like they used to.

it’s nonsense to even remove them, is it really so hard to allow a scroll function in the BL skin window….

I’m still very dissapointed with my personal loss, but agree with most of what’s been said on there. I understand about the TP prices, and the frustration of paying for something that would end up coming back. I’d be annoyed as well.

Just think we should get a heads up before they get removed, that’s all. There’s enough RNG in the game as it is without having to worry about black lion weapons dissapearing. You sneaky devs!

That would be the best course of action for the OP I would think, if they do not want to wait until the Zodiac skins are re-added to the BL weapon trader.

Purchase 5 of the new Daydreamer weapons and sell them on the TP. Most are going for 90-130G right now, so you could get a decent amount for them and see if it’s enough to buy the one Zodiac weapon skin you wanted to get. Sadly, the Zodiac skins are extremely expensive for the most part. Perhaps the one you wanted to get is one of the cheaper ones (like the pistol or short bow for 300-400G).

There’s one left on the TP.. and it’s 1100 gold lol. I was aiming for the focus. I’m not gonna get satisfaction unless I get more monkey shaped weapon skins! ; )
