Well, after needing a few rings for a few characters, I got back into Fractals for a bit after being pretty much over the whole thing. The combination of everyone’s attitudes, long runs and “shortcuts” that are usually “longcuts”, I was over it. But ,, I needed some rings.. So, I started doing it daily again. After 10 or so daily runs without one ring dropping, I thought that it couldn’t possibly get worse. But, I seem to be having an issue with dc’ing now when maw is at 2%. It’s only happened twice but what are the odds. ? Both times, I was bamboozled on both the maw and the daily chest. I know I wouldn’t have gotten any rings but still. Is there any way around this ? It’s a dumb question I know. But I gotta keep hope alive

sounds like your group was full of trolls… they could just not kill the maw until you get back. I mean it isn’t like he is actively attacking you, they can just stand in one spot and occasionally dodge if targeted until you get back. Unless you are saying that you DC’d in the 4 seconds between his last hit and his death animation completing. in that case there isn’t really anything to be done.

10 daily runs over level 10 = 1 ascended ring of your choice that you can buy with pristine relics, so don’t rely on the random drops. It does stink that you are getting disconnected just before you can get the pristine relic These tokens come from the daily chest at the end of Jade Maw, same one that (maybe) drops a ring.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call the other party members trolls, however… maybe they didn’t notice you were gone or didn’t know if you were coming back, etc. Next time you’re in a party, I recommend to let them know in advance that you are having connection issues with Jade Maw so if they see you disappear, please wait!
