Ok so lately, spawning into LA has made me want to kill myself. My server is overrun with 15 year olds who browse reddit and it gets really annoying reading the dumb kitten they say. Basically my question is, are there any servers with mature players?

I dont mean mature as in uptight 30 year olds, I mean players who dont interact like this:

‘’lol and one time, he said he almost saw a kitten!’’
’’xD’’
‘’wow I logged on at the wroong time’’

Just picture your average reddit thread. Thats basically LA map chat when my server isnt dead and its making me want to transfer.

Is map chat the same as /say? Because on Fergussons Crossing, I rarely see any chat, mature or otherwise.

Yesterday’s LA chat on Seafarer’s Rest (EU) went for about 15 minutes like this:

“Hodor Potter”
“Avenged Hodorfold”
“Grand Theft Hodor”
“Medal of Hodor”
“The Hodor of Oz”
“Need for Hodor – Hodorground 2”

Draw your conclusions.

Okay “Hodor Potter” is pretty good though. Was he/she/it a mesmer?

As a player in a US server all I can say is you are still going to find that here. Sorry buddy.

And you think there is some pristine virgin server out there with polite 80 year old grandmothers playing?

You’re in the wrong gaming genre if you expect a server out there to uphold a ‘mature community’ mantra.

Im not asking for polite 80 year old women. Im asking for a server that isn’t overrun with le reddit army of teenagers thinking anything related to s e x is a big deal.

Idk about the genre thing. GW1 did and still does a pretty good job of upholding a mature community.

Just asking if theres a server out there that isnt an extension of reddit psuedo intellectuals

That said, teens, trolls, teen trolls, all seem to hang out in cities and starter areas. Human areas are by far the worst (spoken in my best Rytlock imitation). Once you are outside everything improves. Yes, my block list is growing, but, I’ve seen worse in other games.

As a member of TC, I agree. Overall, it’s a pretty mature and helpful community. That said, turn off Map chat if you go to Divinity’s Reach and this conversation bothers you – it can be 24/7 there.

Trolls make sitting in main towns entertaining. If you still catch feelings over words on the internet you should seek help. I really am just trying to get away from the community that takes up a lot of my server. I’ve been to TC before and its probably my only choice atm

So you want an MMO that isn’t full of trolls, annoying teens, or uptight 30 year olds?
