Got kicked from a dungeon at final boss
I have a feeling of deja vu
I would like to report them all except for my friend,but the problem how can I find there names?

As a rule of thumb whenever you start a PUG take a screenshot. It sucks that it happened but its time to move on and be prepared for the next time.

Honestly this is just one of the many reasons I refuse to PUG.

This is not possible as far as my experience goes, since if they invited a new player, they would go to another separate dungeon instance,
because, one time my friend invited me to the last boss in AC because they are lacking one player(the player left for a particular real life event) but when i entered the dungeon its a new dungeon instance, and the others are on the other dungeon instance as well
I just played TA with 3 random guys. We faced the last boss after 1 hour then when the tree was at at 75%

I was dead.I just simply said I will w8 cause its not worth it running back ,because it would be dead at that time.
Why wait? It isn’t like respawning would have killed you. Though I suppose if the run is a bit harsh (if you skipped mobs) I would personally understand, but you did essentially say “kill it for me, because I don’t want to run back”.
Well I was dead before at some points and I respawned,but this fight is just stand kill at range and dodge AOE.

K, now your just taking it a bit far. It seems like you ran UP path. Deal with it and form another PuG – it doesn’t take long to do that path.

I donno what happened with u,but its normal to inv any 1 at any time in any dungeon.
Didnt see a late inv(boss fight).but either ways u can kick him at the time before the boss and inv ur friend.
Kicking might be extreme but its not very sociable to be lazy and not respawn – if you are late so what at least you made the effort. What if a miracle happened and the boss killed everyone.
I can see why you got kicked, I wouldn’t have kicked you but I guess now you know some better dungeon etiquette.

I would have kicked you immediately if I saw you lying on the floor refusing to res, because you’re not helping. At least if you waypoint and run back you’re trying, even if it ends up being pointless. Put the effort in, especially in a PUG.

As u see scroll up,u will see many ppl who have the same idiotic ideas(kick for silly reasons)

My coach always told me to make the effort even if you arrive late.
That was my little league coach and he spoke the truth.
Even if you were to arrive after the fight was over, that’s the best scenario, worse scenario is that one of the guys lagged and died and you would then have to pick up the slack.
Would you still waste the groups time by laying there dead as the guy that just got killed ran back? Make the effort every time, not for you but for your team.

As others said even if by the time you got back the fight would be over, what if folks missed their dodges or somebody got DC’d or something? Even with people doing things perfectly all that time somebody could make a mistake that ends up dominoing. In that case running back could have helped the situation. 75% is plenty of room for someone to make a mistake like that. if it was 10% or 20% it would be different.
While I wouldn’t necessarily kick you, I would certainly have a lowered opinion of you. As for the no warning, have you ever tried to type something out in the middle of a boss fight? With you refusing to run, they were down one, somebody stopping to type could have caused them to be down two.
Everybody did a little wrong, they probably should not have kicked you (unless you did that kind of thing repeatedly), and you should have shown a little more effort.

Here is exactly your problem, which is precisely why you got kicked out. You say it’s easy, all you have to do is dodge – yet you died. If it’s that easy, why did you die?
You decided to punish your teammates, who did not die, by not even trying to walk back, and, by your description, telling them you weren’t walking back instead of trying to reason with them (Is it worth it for me to respawn? He’ll be dead before I get back…), then at least they have a chance to say “WP and come back, freeloader,” which is what I would say in that situation.
People aren’t idiots for disagreeing with you, because your opinion is not the only one that matters. The fact is at least two people wanted you out of the group. Even if this was the only thing you said or did in the party the whole way (and it often isn’t, but people “forget” their other indiscretions), you still did enough for two people to vote you out.
Take it as a learning experience and move on. Coming to the forums to berate everyone who disagrees with you (especially with the really poor quality of your typing) is a fool move.

i see this post as equally true and applicable in the real world sense,
remember that effort is really a big factor here,
maybe you should read the childrens fable, “the Rabbit and the Turtle”
and the addage “end does not justify the means”

You are overreacting because people disagree with you and tell you you made the wrong decision by staying dead.
As someone said, respawning when dead during a battle, no matter what the situation, is simple etiquette. It doesn’t matter if you probably won’t make it back in time, making the effort counts. Even though kicking without communication towards you is pretty severe, you made a mistake and got punished for it.
Time to move on.

Man, everyone makes mistakes, thats why your teammates told you to revive. Apparently you think you are the only one allowed to make mistakes and die, but god forbid if your partners made the same mistake. Just think for one second, if two of them died oo, all their work would be in vain, just because you didndt came back to help them.

Did you do something wrong? – the answer is yes, you didn’t show that you were making an effort to contribute. (not that I think that justifies kicking, but I only run with guildmate and friends)
Should you report them? No, they broke no rule. Vote-kick is an option in the party menu.
What should you do in this situation? Move on. Don’t group with those people again. Try sticking to your friends-list and guild.

Here’s what I find interesting of this topic:
1) The OP specifically asked – “Did I do something wrong here?” which the OP was told by many people, yeah, you did – but instead of accepting that the OP gets bent out of shape claiming people didn’t read his post and that he/she did nothing wrong.
2) The second question – “why didn’t they warn me?” was pretty much answered in one way or another – without being those people in the specific group no one will know for sure why you (the OP) weren’t warned.
3) The final question – “what can I do?” was also answered – don’t group with those people, group with friends, find a guild and group with them only. There is no reporting because a group didn’t like you and decided to kick you for something YOU did.
Now, my thoughts on the matter are simple:
- Both the OP and the group could have handled it better at the time.
- You (the OP) probably made the group members rather mad stating that you would “just wait” until they finished the fight. Honestly, if I was running the group I would have told you to rez at WP and run back or risk getting kicked. I’ve fought all of the boss fights in TA and even when I was new there, unless the group told me to just wait, I revived at the WP. The tree at the end can be a pain in the butt up close and much easier at range; I don’t blame them for not wanting to risk dying to go in to rez you when you could have easily tapped out to the WP. Just because they are level 80’s doesn’t mean they are invincible.
- The group could have handled it better by when you stated that asking you to rez regardless of your being lazy in feeling that the fight would be too short and that you should just wait.
- As mentioned before, many people want to see that you’re at least trying to be part of the group and support the progression through the instance; even at the end boss. Laying to wait is not trying.
- Even though you mention that it’s such a “easy and short” fight, you died there – being your first time on that given path, you either didn’t know the fight or didn’t understand it which means that it may have really been a short or long fight but you should have tried to participate more by reviving and coming back.
- As also mentioned, PUGs are really random. I’ve been with PUG groups that have been incredible where we were making record breaking speed runs with no wipes and I’ve been with PUG groups that an instance that should take 30 to maybe 40 minutes took over 2 hrs. People and quality of players is random. EVEN in a guild it can be random. But, if you’re in a guild and find a good team to work with, you’ll have a more enjoyable time.
Now my thoughts on it: this probably wasn’t the only thing that happened during this run that frustrated or infuriated the other members of the group. You’re giving us a small portion of the entire run (the final boss fight); other things may have happened or had been said that we don’t know about (even though you state that nothing else happened during the run, that may not be how the other group members feel about it). What you did and how you said what you would do is the type of thing that would make many people fairly upset with your playstyle and more likely to boot you if the opportunity rises; both the group and yourself (the OP) holds responsibility in this matter. Learn from it and move on, grand scheme of things it was a single instance run and can be re-experienced. Just because you didn’t get the responses (or support) in game or here for the injustice that you felt doesn’t mean that you should leave the game or the forums.
For the sake of a better forum climate I will close this thread now.
The OP actually got an answer, several times now, but this thread seems to go out of hand.
