as far as I know we are goign mainly to crystal desert which is actually connected via said gate…..

Shortbow!? Hmm, I guess as long as it’s not a condition-focused shortbow then I can use it. I’m a longbow fan all the way.
Pretty sure it will have a condi theme. Maybe if you are lucky it will have power heavy scaling with condi focused traits to make it viable in any type of damage build.
I’m leaving my Revenant there, until the expansion comes. As soon as that guard gives me passage, nothing will hold me back! I want the Longbow Rev Specialization!!! Literally the exact weapon I needed for this profession. CAN’T WAIT!!!
Too bad the guard will probably have you go to DR for a 15 minute cutscene, to Rata Sum to kill maybe 3 mobs and a boss (which autoattack you for 500 damage every 5s), then to Orr for another 15 minute cutscene, then maybe… just maybe… you’re allowed to go through after the 5 minute dialogue with that guard.
Where he tells you that you have to go to a portal in DR to reach the Crystal Desert. Because of course.
So have fun waiting at the gates.
