I’ve only been playing for half a year. Decided 10min ago,“Why not try for a precursor”. So i went to the trade market and bought the 4 of the cheapest exotic greatswords (which costs 16 gold) and poof. Dusk.

My brother was almost as lucky. He plays about 2 hours a week and a year later he got a precursor from a fiend in gendarran Fields and he didn’t even understand what he had got so I could have fooled him to give me it… But I didn’t, I helped him instead.

I’ve been playing since headstart and only got Venom from MF by throwing random yellows, and once dropped a Howl. It’s a fair amount of “win” with RNG Gods, wish all that luck would work for Storm… Oh well. :P

The rulez are very clear about this..“the player who will have an impossible insane amount of luck regarding the aquiring of an precursor will be severily punished by the other players”
I would seriously consider not to go for PvP or WvW…

And here i am, scraping enough gold to make the cheapest legendary, minstrel. Played cca 3k hours, threw around 700 gold in the mf, exchanging dungeon tokens for exotics that i throw in the forge too to get some pearl shield, doing all dungeons and bosses daily and most expensive thing that dropped was a 20 gold hammer. That’s rng for me so far. Gratz.
