Is it just me or did some of the skills get an grphical update? I cannot remember that e.g. the hammer skill from the jalis rev looked so flashy when they are created…. and somehow the fire seems …. smoother.

After the update I first checked if my graphic options were automatically put higher but that seems to be not the case.

I imagine it came with the PoF files that were downloaded for the beta. We’ve seen that it has a new water renderer at least, so I’m not surprised some other graphics got touched on as well

pof in generall looks compared to everythign we have seen so far in guild wars graphically more cleaner, colorfully flashier, brighter and the graphics seem to look also in my opinion, based on the PoF trailer more textured and detailed.

It will most likely be due to the next expansion bringing like being said abobe overworked better shaders and renders that naturally will not only affect the world design on how stuff like environmental effects look like, but naturally as well also too skill effects and their animations

As preparation for that preview event its clear, that we need to have to update with that preemptive update then also these overworked shaders ect., so that the preview will be later able to work at all, so that the whole thing doesn’t end up in a game crash desaster due to incompatible and outdated game elements compared between the current game version and what will be required later to play PoF smoothly

Also when using distracting daggers with my thief there now actually fly daggers around my right arm ….. that wasnt there before was it?
