Great Jungle Wurm Slayer

The Wurm Demolitionist achievement has been lowered to 5 kegs, down from 30.

Wurm Decapitator progress is now awarded to ANY participating player in the Triple Trouble events.

Wurm’s Bane

This title is awarded when players complete the event.

So since Great Jungle Wurm Slayer has been nerfed and the title is now 25 barreals less and decapitator progressed given to ANY participating player. What would be the better title? Why is there a second new title? Also has my old title lost any value due to the new one? How does anyone that earned “Great Jungle Wurm Slayer” through days of working on Triple Trouble feel about this?

Yes I am very aware that my shiny doesn’t have the shine it used to… I am pretty sure you can taste my tears if your reading this…. Hey did you hear that?…..wait for it …. yeah that’s the sound of kitten….. and for those don’t know I am pretty mad about this.

I don’t think many people place the same emphasis on titles here, as you may.

Or, if titles are really important to you, now you have to opportunity to achieve a more difficult one. =) More gameplay, because after a year or two, you may join those that lament the lack of things to do. Good luck!

Anet is well known for reducing time/effort to achieve a title as time goes by. Two well known ones are LDoA and Drunkard. Yes I know they are from GW1, so is Anet. imo Drunkard was a huge change. Took people hundreds of hours to achieve, only to be able to be done in less than a day later on. People whined and moaned about it to no end. Didn’t make a difference though. Learn to roll with the punches. Less ego bruising that way.

More difficult surly you jest? When the flavor of the of the month maybe even this year is to just afk or tap the wurm a few times and sits back for the show and then get the title. Key thing “This title is awarded when players complete the event.” doesn’t say how they do it is just given….
