If done right that could actually be a great idea. Though knowing GW2 and dyes they’ll probably be obtainable with RNG for limited times or very expensive on the TP

I’d like to see dyes that glow and combo dyes, like a pink and green swirly pattern on the same swatch.

They’re asking for input to learn from this.
But if they didn’t learn from the three years of events behind us, they won’t learn from this either.

-That Anet will transition to a Windows 8 or 10 style interface in the forums and in-game with its butt ugly oversimplification and laziness with its lack of gradients and shadows (gosh hopefully the Metro interface will be the screamo of the 00’s, something terrible that’s associated with the decade and everyone is thankful for being gone!)

-“Legendaries” will be outclassed by current mystic forge recipes though to be honest it’s very tough to top Mjolnir. I can live with no tiger themed hammer (shiny black and orange everything, translucent tiger arm swipes with your hammer blows with random roars, tiger stripped tiger footprints, etc.) although it’d be great to have. Since lions and greatswords are associated with leaders a lion themed greatsword would be great. Red lion greatsword is the placeholder name and the blade would be like looking in another dimension like Twilight but it’s a jungle with a big red haired lion’s head prominent. Shiny red and gold lion footprints follow the user and it’s like the tiger hammer but with a red lion instead. I think greatsword of leadership is a great name for it because it’s red, a greatsword, and lion themed. Or greatsword of kings. Tl;dr I fear the new legendaries won’t be as epic as the ones I listed

-Last and certainly not least more events with mobs who don’t drop anything or even give EXP

what if with the recent events with Ncsoft, anet is putting in the ability to craft the gem store dyes. (naturally they will cost an arm and a leg)

I wouldn’t mind exotic dyes as long as they made a pure white one, I’d do anything to get that q.q

This Trahearne hatred is just horrifying to constantly run into. He’s my favorite character and I’m heartbroken and have constant dread of losing him because of the haters.

That would actually be a great idea but with themed dyes like rainbow electro. Different swatches would start off with a different color to avoid uniformity. If the player wants uniformity (i.e., shades transitioning at same gradation point) they’ll just have to time it for each swatch. I think though shared colors in a swatch with various patterns would be better, like checkered red and black or diamond blue and white.

That anet nerfs the reaper into oblivion and obscurity.

Why not Legendary dies?
For that much more particle effects over your already particle effect
full legendary armor.
Imagine this.
When combined,legendary weapons,armor,back packs,and dies,
our toons won’t just have some gear with particle effects,but instead
will be particle effects with a toon somewhere in there in between all
those shinies!
I wouldn’t go near a skritt cave like that though.
I’d be abducted and forced to stay in the cave forever as the ultimate
shiny of all time.

To make new items seem more special, they’ll have them glow like the sun, and it’ll be impossible to read enemy animations if even a single person is in melee with them.

Monster Hunter had “Ascended Dyes.” There was a certain color upgrade that could make the armor constantly change colors in a rainbow pattern. Can you imagine GW2 having that?

Is that such a bad deal? Especially since it means the end of tree-boy?

My fear is that we won’t even get to see Mordremoth, much less fight it, in HoT. Additionally, that even after we beat Mordremoth sometime in the next year, we’ll get another year of filler content before another Scarlet ex machina scenario where one of the other elder dragons (some of which have been awake and active for centuries) finally gets off its kitten and does something.

Greatest HoT Fear: Mordremoth battle is a dungeon and just as bad as the Zhaitan battle. Also, destiny’s edge comes along only for us to watch them repeatedly die. Again.

id suggest to change all blacklion dyes to exotic ones, so its easier to find them
its just QoL and because they are somehow more exotic than out release rare ones
