Griffonrook Run
And that is why it’s a completely optional area with nothing of interest save for a jumping puzzle and two achievements.
I loved stumbling upon hidden areas like this. was my favorite part of the game, and a big part of why I came back for HoT
What exactly was the point of your post OP? What are you suggesting? Remove all exploration in the game? Make it a big open doorway that’s really obvious so everyone sees it the second they get near?
ANet may give it to you.
It really wasn’t that hard to find, with a guide I imagine its even easier...

paranoid much? they seem impressed
I tend to sympathise with the OP on this one.
The camera in this game has severe problems when in a closed or obstructed environment if you have a Charr or Norn character in finding obscured entrances.
A compromise solution would be something like a message which appears and says something like hidden entrance somewhere around here.

Are they? That’s not the impression I got and not the impression other people got, based on their responses.
ANet may give it to you.

Totally agree with this. I personally had some trouble finding the entrance even with the guide. I swam up and down the shore once or twice, and then getting through the coral was a little rediculous.
Then I saw my brother try and do it a few days later and he managed to get stuck in a spot that looked like the right area but was just a gap in the coral. It took him at least five minutes to get out and actually find his way into the jumping puzzle.
So I too can totally sympathize with anyone having trouble finding Griffonrook Run. It would be nice if the entrance were a little bit more visible and accessible. I really appreciate the fact they let the lady revive you every time you die though. That JP was a real pain.
Now that you’ve found it will you take me? :P

That JP is both one of the easiest and one of the hardest in the game. It depends on whether or not you care about getting a couple greens and blues from the chest. If you don’t it is easy. Credit for the JP does not require opening the chest.
Honestly the only thing I agree with in this post is the Camera part. In GW1 the leaves became semi transparent. That would be helpful things such as finding the edge of a cliff without plummeting to your death. Or gliding down and having to run all the way back up because no matter how much you rotated the camera you could see past a dang bush!!
As for Griffinrook, I am really bad, I mean really really bad, at JPs but I loved Griffinrook, even when if it was a bit of a pain to find.
I get this complaint a lot, so to make it clear: There are hints about the location of this puzzle inside the game and even how to reach it. The intel is far away from being detailed or specific about the spot. About the camera. There do exist other spots, some entrances to cave which are slightly that difficult to enter. There is a big difference about the character size. E. g. with an asura it appears to be easier. But I do agree it is a bit of an issue in this game.
The place you are looking for is also in Lornar’s Pass, Lost Delver’s Rich area. You have Guutra’s Homestead there, with a Waypoint and a POI called Guutra’s Secret. The door is locked obviously, but can be entered IF you are a member of the Order of Whispers. Inside you will find a nice empty homestead with a fireplace in the middle. Right next to it, at the wood (iirc) there is a switch, which opens a secret passage through the fireplace.
The cave is full of curiosities and has the npc in question at the end. Again it is far away from being detailed. But I know a bunch of people who could have found it with those hints only (after some hours ^^).
