Grind Wars - No more fun
don’t worry, its not just pve thats no fun. pvp is the same. 3.. 4? years now and still only support 1 game mode, removed soloq, almost removed more maps than they’ve added, and they cap rewards for the closest thing to a random solo arena (hotjoin servers).
making sure their game is fun hasn’t been a priority for a while.
What if we dont like the content on the maps. Wellkittenplayer.
Then you don’t need those masteries, the “skills” you level on those maps are only used on those same maps, so no need to worry.
I have a question for you, what you used to do in game that you can’t do anymore or is behind a “grind”?
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Fun? You want fun? Get back out there and grind. This is Grind Wars not Fun Wars. Be happy if you aren’t a WvW guild who had all their upgrades dumped down the toilet and then gated behind a lot of PVE grinding AND a massive amount of gold. Fun…. next I suppose you’ll want bug fixes….
Well those skills are only used on those maps. If you don’t like the content on the maps then how is it a loss?
There’s plenty of fun and it was nice to do the Wintersday activities again. It’s only a grind because you allow it to be. You chose that you wanted the 10K drinks now when it can be done through the the year or next Wintersday with no progress lost. The meta can be completed without it.
I understand that you’re frustrated but it seems like you want everything now rather than later. That’s not how it works but you are not getting shafted if you were to take your time. Many people who have full time jobs and families successfully play other MMO’s that have so much more grind than GW2.
The whole expansion,Winters day, all the new content ANet adds.
Eg.
Auto loot – Should this not be an normal game option ?
Auto loot you can get outside the new maps.
Except for the winter presence shoulder item (on which you can get after wintersday), everything is the same than the previous years.
The new content you don’t need to grind at all, by just playing you’ll get the mastery needed to finish the story, but if you want the shiny skins then you’ll have to get out of your comfort zone.

been playing for a bit more then 3 years. i still havent found this grind that is supose to exist in gw2 according to some people.
