Guild Wars 2

So i just started to play this game. Right now i don’t get higher than 15 level and just testing different classes. But i fought some group event bosses and find that killing them highly unsatisfying.
The main reason of this is because they don’t have any good loot, but they’re kinda hard to kill. For example for first event i got 1 resource as drop. For second i got nothing. For third i got blue item. Even event rewards not that good, because it’s more easy to complete solo event and get same event rewards and better loot from monsters.

I just don’t get, why don’t make this bosses more rewardable? May be spawn small chest or something like this?

There are meta events that do spawn chests, once you’re level 40. Some people farm those events all day. You’ll get to know all about them when you’re at a higher level. At least four of them are in starter zones too.

After the summer Anet will be revamping the reward system anyway (but we don’t know what to expect from that.

The whole point of group events is to do them with groups btw. They give something for guilds or people who play with friends to do. The reward is in the fun of the events.

If you’re playing this game for rewards instead of experiences, you’re probably going to be disappointed.

Oh, yeah. i saw (and join) one of this events. I wonder why there was so many high level peoples on start location… Now i see why.

Also rewards is part of experience. This is not advanced combat MMO (like Tera for example), not a slasher or shooter, so the whole oint of fighting here is loot and other rewards. Also this group events bosses quite annoying, because can block WP.
