I mean people always suggest Tengu or Kodan … how about a race that dosen’t have that much lore except from being a forest , risen or cavern grub? It would also be different from the human-like race without arms and legs . What you guys think ? By the way the grub and the quaggan are very similar , so those who like quaggan raise your voices . The only problem would be the armor but i’m sure it’s not that hard to design .

I think it’s a weird choice tbh……

One of the others I would like to play that has not been mentioned before much (that I have seen anyway) is the Jotun. They could be cool.

I’d enjoy seeing Grubs wearing tiny hats.

Jotun is not bad but it’s too similar with human … Grub is completly different which is great .

I honestly think Charr race is ugly enough, so there’s no need for grubs. and a race without limbs..how would the weapon animations for that work.. ? How would these grubs wield greatswords or bows anyhow?

Well they have small paws if you look correctly . We just don’t see them because grubs always stay on the ground.

Wat? Grubs are adorable. They’d look great in tiny hats and little coats while swinging around Greatswords that are duct taped to their head.

How about a Ranger grub wearing a Quaggan backpack with a bow taped to his head? He could pull the string with his teeth. No bear though for a pet. Bears eat grubs for dinner.

They would look great in tiny hats. That is the only point on which I can agree with this thread at all.

Grubs are not smart enough to learn magic OR science. And they lack opposable thumbs and language skills. Down with grubs, I say!

Here’s something that always bothered me.
What is the life cycle of the grub?
What do they turn into? What lays their eggs? Why don’t we see hordes of moths as kittenemi-trucks all over the place?
ANet give us giant moths. It is needed.
Or beetles, giant beetles will work too.

I’d totally roll a Grub Ranger immediately if it was available. Guess which one’s the ranger, which one’s the pet, haha! Well, of course, we’d need Juvenile Grubs as pets too, for full effect, i guess. Unless Grubs would get to tame Juvenile Humans/Norns/Charrs/etc?

I would totally roll a grub, but I’d think a Krait would be more likely as a new playable race. But could you imaging a zerg of grub players? That would be pretty awesome.

Thank you for this idea. We are dropping the expansion we were working on and have switched to making this our new endgame. Hope you enjoy it.

Grub would have two skills acid spit and smelly land mine. It would be like death shroud on 24/7.

I dream of playable Mursaat. Even without super-OP spectral agony, they were an awesome-looking race.
