Guesting
Guesting was originally meant to be able to play PvE with your friends from other servers. Now with the “Mega Server”, everyone from any server can play togehter. You ever play GW1? Think of it as districts… though you can’t change it. Just add the friend you want to play with to your party, right click, and join their district or whatever it is called.
Please correct me if I am wrong. TY =) I’ve been away for some time as well.

Well, in my opinion guesting is now useless, cause we have megaservers now, theres a higher chance that u will meet ur guild mates or friends etc
If I understand it correctly, about the only purpose for guesting is to get credit for a guild mission. If you join a guild doing a mission and are not from the same home world as the guild that started it, you need to guest to that home world to get the guild mission rewards. I am not sure about that, but I seem to recall having read it.
Thank you all for the input! I wanted to use guesting to do events in other servers like I usually did to enter CoF and CoE, and also when a temple event was almost over in one server I’d relog and did the same event with a different toon in another server. I believe Erich is right, it must only be useful for GM now.
I haven’t tested it yet, but I believe that guesting change the priorities from the megaserver system for you. Instead of prioritizing people from your home server, it will prioritize people from the guested one.
