It is fast becoming common knowledge that the dragon chests actually drop stuff that is useful now and people are participating more. More and more are becoming aware that you can only loot a dragon chest once a day but people being what they are have found a way around this. By guesting on another server, you get to loot multiple dragon chests for the same kills but on different servers.

This of course has led to massive influx of players during events leaving me mainly with severe culling, overflow servers and even non-participation in events due to some unknown reason. There was much discussion surrounding guesting as Far Shiverpeaks strained to breaking point in the recent claw of jormag event and the consensus drawn was that one chest per day and only lootable on your home server.

Arenanet need to realise that players will always take the easier option and now that you have given them this relative gold mine of servers to descend upon, destroy dynamic events for the home crowd and leave when they are done, this was inevitable. A fix must be in the workings and fast otherwise these events will become unplayable during peak hours.

TL,DR: Guesting is killing DE’s – only allow players to loot dragon chest on their home server.

Probably should go under suggestions, but ya, I could see this being considered an exploit. I’d be fine allowing people to get chests from guesting, but only one chest a day regardless of which server you’re on.

If that’s even possible.

Aurora glade server here -last jormag event on our server was so full that a) I and many others from our server can even participate (we end in overflow) and b) even people who was there “enjoy” some severe culling lags -so much that some of them get bronze medail or wasn´t able hit jormag at all (in whole event).
If we need guesting please make all world boss chest accont bond on every server – so you can loot just one in one day. So some of us can actually play game and enjoy it.

Doesnt matter if you guest to another server, you can still only loot 1 chest per day per char.

no you can get one per char per server- some of my friends is from this new farming folks and they can gat and they get more that just one chest per day per char
