Hi Anet,
I would like a clarification on an issue that’s been bothering me for some time. I bought a 2nd account about a year ago when gw2 was still available for purchase. I created a rank of co-leader in my primary guild and gave this 2nd acct all the permissions of a leader. Yet I’m unable to do anything with this 2nd account when it comes to administering ranks. Ie: i can invite members to the guild, but i cannot promote/demote/kick etc. Is this a bug?

This 2nd acct does have its own guild but i mainly use it for storage and always rep my main guild. It just seems strange i can have members that belong to other guilds and with less permissions do more than my alt account that has all the permissions. I would really appreciate an answer as to why this is so. Thanks in advance.

Seems strange, I havent had that problem with any of my alts, I think you would need to put in a ticket for this with screenshots etc.

Have you placed your co-leader rank at the top, right below leader but above everyone else? Users can only administer ranks located below them

Well i only play one account at a time, so when i log on my alt, i’m logged out of my main account and then my alt’s rank is always at the top where leader usually is. I therefore think i should be able to do all the things a leader can, since in the absence of my main account being online, they are the leader.

P.S. I think i may have misunderstood what u meant. Do u mean the rank symbols? if so no, they’re where the game placed it when i first created the rank, its actually quite a bit down the list, how do i move it up then?

I mean on the ranks panel, you can drag ranks up and down to give them priority over one another. Is your co-leader rank physically placed above other ranks you wish to administrate? I’m on my phone so I can’t upload a screenshot right now unfortunately

Update. Yes moving the rank icon up the list has worked, thanks to your help and not the non-existent guild information system.

Why isn’t there any info in the guild panel about this when creating ranks? I didn’t even know you could move those icons? After having an awful experience way back when i accidentally removed myself from my own guild without any warnings “are u sure” (now we have it thank god) i’m too scared to fiddle with anything in this guild system as it’s extremely unforgiving. In any case, I would have thought permission lvl would govern someone’s authority within the guild, not some arbitrary icon position. But whatever.
