Guild Alliances
O another thing that would be great is if we are allied with another guild we could put things in their treasury without having to represent them that would be another nice thing.
I really like this idea.
You can join multiple guilds and see them in chat. Doesn’t that accomplish this? Other than the using guild storage, which I think most guilds would have a problem with — unless you only mean deposit, and not withdraw anything. Hmm, even then, allowing non-guildies to see what’s in your storage could lead to trouble.
Joining multiple guilds only joins you to multiple guilds. This in fact is not the same as the suggestion, because all members could be linked. This would be a great way to get pvp/wvw/pve only guilds with blended talents who could help each other and benefit from the support of game modes they don’t like.
There is a considerable number of guilds that include 3 - 5 people or 15 - 20 people. No one would give up their guild identities, but an alliance could prevent that, while making a stronger structure for the little guys. Definitely an idea worth some research time for anet.
all we’ll need to do is , if they make this Alliance option they would all share the same guild hall its big enough for Multipul guilds and would vastly improve the speed at which the guild hall Developes but for banners ascetic reasons the Alliance will be giving the choice for a New larger Seperate banner followed by the Single Guild banners which make up the alliance near the Crystal or where the Alliance decide to set up the meeting area but the Creator of the alliance just like in factions gw1 will have control of the main alliance banner and its location.
ontop of that in wvw the alliance members all show up as Guild members with the Guild tag Added e.g Crimson alliance + (guild Owl Shatters) CA-OS or [CA-OWL] you’ll know its a guild member by the second part of the tag and a alliance member by the first part of the tag , joined under a larger banner while still remaining Loyal to the individual guild.
onther bonus is in the Open world seeing more Alliance memebers or Different Guilds under the alliance banner makes things even more Social even if your personal guild only log on at night or is really small , the alliance guilds might be active through out the day so you’ll never be alone and grants you access to join other guilds for guild missions but you’ll only Recive GUEST rewards no Guild commendations.
the guest rewards would be Guild hall items or things that contribute to the alliance influence.
Alliance influence works like guild influence , the alliance or each guild pays influence % per week the alliance influence can be used to pay for Alliance Bonuses to pve, wvw, eotms and Gathering bonuses for everyone so more guilds that contribute means more bonuses and fancy guild hall items .

You’re talking about guild banks. Treasury is different because you can only deposit into it to help build upgrades for a guild hall. Yes, you can be in multiple guilds, but you can only represent one at a time. The whole idea is that guilds can ally together and work together as their separate guilds to get goals done like doing guild missions together and to get favor for their separate guild hall upgrades.

I think keeping guild halls separate would actually be better because every guild has their own style, but if you are in an alliance with a guild you can visit their guild halls like gw1. I think you have a great idea but It would be better if that person hasn’t gotten their weekly reward for a guild mission that they would get their rewards if they do it with an ally. If they did already get their guild mission rewards for that week already then they would just get influence for the alliance.
This would be nice. Sometimes I forget to switch guild rep or switch to another character repping the wrong guild. This would ease that and promote guild cooperation rather than competition for members/rep. Also massive guilds that go beyond the member limit can effectively make their guilds “larger” this way. +1 from me.
